As a South African model, I’ve had the privilege to travel the world. And even though it was a life-changing adventure, the journey ultimately opened doors and pathed the way for me to pursue my true passions: presenting, playing dress-up with my three daughters and promoting brands I believe in. So I’m currently spending my days hosting a few popular South African television shows and sharing my most-loved products with followers and friends, all while juggling life with three children.

As the host of my talk show MINKI, I have honest and heartening conversations with inspiring individuals from all walks of life. I adore meeting new people and listening to their diverse views and opinions while cultivating a calm and friendly atmosphere in a room surrounded by cameras. I fell in love with presenting during my first opportunity as a presenter on SABC‘s Pasella and later refined my skill while travelling across South Africa to host two seasons of kykNET’s Boer Soek ‘n Vrou. This experience led me to win Huigenoot’s Tempo award for TV Presenter of the year in 2018.
Influencer & Brand Ambassador
In my role as a social media influencer and brand ambassador, I have the opportunity to engage directly with my followers and work with phenomenal brands. But what I love most is discovering beauty, giving honest recommendations and sharing my favourite products and brands with others. In a recent Garnier influencer survey, I was voted the most approachable, sincere and trustworthy by fellow South African women, which is a big honour.
Mother
Being the mother of my beautiful and bright girls — Katerien, Elise and Elsa — is my most challenging and rewarding role by far. They make me and my husband, Ernst Joubert, love, laugh and cherish every day. It is truly a blessing to raise — and learn from — these three wondrous girls.
